First public announcement of HenPlus JDBC SQL Shell

The HenPlus JDBC shell is a commandline SQL shell written in Java, using the standard JDBC drivers. It supports all the commandline amenities like history and completion (completing not only commands but as well table and column names). The shell allows to have multiple open connection sessions at once to different databases with a simple way to switch between them. A database independent database dump/restore allows to dump tables of one database (e.g. MySQL) and restore it in another (e.g Oracle). The 'describe' command gets the essentials of your MetaData. Additional features are variables, aliases, plugins. Check it out - it will make your everyday life easier!
