It appears you have a good start going. Obviously there are lots of things you'd probably love to do with Helper, where do you see yourself going? Whats your direction?

That's very interesting question, in short term our plans are:
1. I'm working currently on Diagrams plug-in (like mindmap). With this user will be able to draw diagrams and use Helper items (folder, resource annotations, blog entries, etc) as nodes on diagrams. I use GEF for this
2. After diagrams I'll try to finish planning plug-in. It is based on iCal standard (events, TODOs, reminders, calendars, etc)
In general, I see Helper as a kind of personal information manager and personal notepad. With it user will be able create personal web of items available to navigate and edit easily.
In long term we are thinking about server side software which will allow user to share his/her local personal information with other people.
