FYI, I ran some small scale static file load tests against heliod and a handful other web servers. My findings are here: http://173.255.252.27/jyri/articles/index.php/the-fastest-web-server-is/ -- Jyri J. Virkki - Santa Cruz, CA -- |

Excellent on the sparc build. I'll try it ASAP. Francois Dion http://solarisdesktop.blogspot.com On Oct 18, 2012, at 2:38, "Jyri J. The old blogs.sun.com is mostly still available and has some good info if you can find it. For example, the liks below should help (ignore the wadm CLI references since the CLI was not open sourced by Sun): https://blogs.oracle.com/meena/entry/configuring_reverse_proxy_in_sun https://blogs.oracle.com/meena/entry/configuring_reverse_proxy_in_web -- Jyri J. I have published "release-0.2" binaries on the project sourceforge site. https://sourceforge.net/projects/heliod/files/release-0.2/ No difference in functionality, this is only to track some build changes. A binary is now available for Solaris 10 SPARC, in addition to Solaris 10 x86 and Linux (built/tested on debian but may work elsewhere). Also, for anyone interested in building from source I have published the scripts I use to generate the "sbc" libraries needed to build. See notes in sbc/README in the source tree. You'll need to download the sbc source tarball separately: https://sourceforge.net/projects/heliod/files/sbc/ Building from source is unlikely to work out of the box on anything other than the three specific platforms I've built binaries on. If you try on something else let me know and I'll try to help. -- Jyri J. Virkki - Santa Cruz, CA -- |

Hi All, Basic request - is there any documentation available or steps handy anyone has for configuring heliod as a basic reverse HTTP proxy? Cheers, Dave |
