Hi list, I've just signed up to the list to track the status of this project. The lack of workflow tools/WYSIWYG tools for web on linux is a source of constant frustration to me, and i'd like to pitch in as much as possible. I have minimal coding experience, with a few months experience in corporate style, database driven software development. Much of my free time at the moment however is going into hugging my python interpreter, hoping I can build some skill with the language. Some brief questions: 1. Has discussion on chosen languages/interface been conclusive? I have seen Python is in the lead, and Tk. Any thoughts on PyGTK (i'm a biased GNOME user ;)). http://www.pygtk.org/ And a great pyGTK app to get your hands dirty with if your keen: http://disksearch.sourceforge.net 2. Is there an official avenue for screaming plans/requests/ideas. Is this open to blokes like myself? Regards, Shane W. Handley (Melbourne, AUS GMT+10) |
