It's not actually gone, but I've taken it out of the visible features
on sourceforge.
So far I'm quite happy with git. Github appears to be a bit slow
lately, but it's a known problem that they're working on, and it
mostly affects the 'fancy' features like the network graph:

The branches are really what makes it work well for me. It's
convenient to give each feature its own branch where it can live until
we're sure it's ready for inclusion in Hecl proper.
Here's a quick guide to the current branches:
anonproc: the anonymous proc feature discussed on this list earlier.
codecmd: a way to include variables from the current environment into
a block of code that's being defined.
j2mefiles: work on file stuff for j2me
location: the Location API for mobile devices
master: Hecl proper - this is where stuff goes when it's ready to be
released and maintained.
Next on the infrastructure list is the Google Group. I wanted to
finish up the Github work before doing that, though.
