#45 GCC version 4.4.6 still doesn't compile Healpix_3.11!
Today we found, that the gcc compiler version 4.4.6 is unable to compile C or/and C++ Healpix_3.11 components due to possibly the issue with libsharp, which was present in the 3.10 version, but was announced to be eliminated in 3.11. Thus, the authors may check again...

In bug report #37 I stated that, due to an oversight on my part, the fix didn't make it into the 3.11 release, at least not into the standard config files. The issue is now fixed on both the main development branch as well as the current release branch in Subversion, so the next release will definitely contain it - but we can't retroactively change the release packages :(
However you mention that you were unable to compile the Healpix C component, and this should be unaffected by the compiler bug n gcc 4.4.6. If that is the case, could you please provide details?
Fixed in 3.20.
