HDDtempNC provides a script to acquire hard disk drive temperature for a target host by querying an existing HDDtemp daemon and then parse the results according to the request.

Interrogate hard disk drive temperature
Specify target host (optional)
Specify target port (optional)
Numeric output for use in other programs and scripts
Does not require administrative or root privileges
Requires HDDtemp daemon listening on known TCP port on target host
Requires working Python environment on local host (where script is run)
Works on Windows (tested on 7), Linux (tested on Debian Wheezy)
