[Hbasic-userinfo] Serial port/real time

First I really like what I read, especially the Database functions.

I have a couple questions;
I don't see how to open a serial RS232 port. Is it possible?

I need to receive data from the port and from a user form at the same 
time and respond to whoever sends data first.

The user can enter data and send commands to the serial port, but the 
program needs to check for status on the serial port at the same time.

Is this possible?
