[Hbasic-userinfo] error on HBasic

RedHat 9.0  install Hbasic all ok, till I try to run HBASIC Command =
file;

screen pulls up a window for a second and closes.
error in box pointing to some weard 2wjdgsbbocwigets dont know this !

install attempt 4 times, reinstalled linux 3 times, same thing.  HELP ?
