Hi David, I think this problem is my fault. With the version 0.9.9i of HBasic I = have tried to teach HBasic to check for KDE support (and some other = configure options) automatically. At that time I had a beta version of KDE 3.2 on = my computer and I could't get it running with KDE 3.2. So I have just put NO_KDEUI in the config files without any chance for configure to change this. That's why the configure flag --with-kdeui (which should be = working with hbasic 0.9.9h2) has been dropped but is still in the older documentation. I have send some information about this change on the = mail in the hbasic usergroup but this is not available for all users. For the = next release of HBasic I have installed the old KDE 3.1 version on my = computer so that KDE support should be working again. Betreff: [Hbasic-userinfo] Compiling HBasic .9.9i with KDE support Hi everyone, I'm sure I'm missing something, but I'm having problems compiling .9.9i = with KDE support. The HBasic home page says to use the --with-kdegui configure flag, but ./configure --help doesn't list this flag as being available. ./configure --help does list --with-kde-includes and --with-kde-libraries which I have also tried to no avail. Here's the command I'm using to try to compile .9.9i with KDE support: ./configure --with-kdegui --with-kde-includes=3D/usr/ --with-kde-libraries=3D/usr/ but every time I configure, I get the NO_KDEGUI message after it checks = for KDE. I notice in the configure script, its looking for libkdecore.la which I do have in my /usr/lib directory. I'm on Mandrake 10 with KDE 3.2 if that matters. As far as I know, I = have all the necessary KDE developent files installed. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on? Or, if not, can anyone = tell me what I *should* get if I include the KDE compile options to at least tell me if all this = work is going to be worth it? What new features do I get with the KDE integration? Thanks David __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
