This wonderful app is the best available. But being able to identify completed batches would be so helpful
Even by the ability to alter the batch name.

HatchKeeper 0.80 allows you to edit any batch name. It also adds the ability to hide batches after they hatch. If you are using Android, update to the latest version. The desktop version is mostly done but isn't released yet, due to current lack of time.
The method I use is create a group called Incubating. I add all batches to this group to start with. Then move them to a different group such as 2020, after they hatch.
I hope this helps.

Related to this, on the batch page it would be nice to, following Day 21 of 21, have 8 days ago or 4 weeks ago or 6 months ago added. I use age to figure out when to move birds up from small brood to larger to an adult coop. I usually have to go into dates to see when they hatched and then do the math. Putting the info on the batch screen also makes it easier to see which batches hatched. One could even put text that says 12 days remaining or Locked down for unhatched batches.
Not related it might be useful to be able to add checkpoints . A checkpoint is just a label and a date. The label is just user defined text. Fully Feathered . Vitamins Added to H20, First Egg, or whatever you think is useful.

Hello! thanks for your suggestions. It shouldn't be too hard to add the Days/Months/Years ago feature once hatched. That idea has never crossed my mind before but it definitely makes sense to me. I'll create a ticket for the next release.
As far as checkpoints: So far I haven't really been wanting to add poultry management to this app. I like no frills apps that are simple and straight to the point. Ones that do one job and do it well. Adding poultry management opens an even bigger can of worms. Hatching is fairly straightforward. Raising Chickens, Ducks, Geese, etc and all the thousands of different methods and variables, is not. A companion app would be nice. But I don't have the time to write it right now.
