The problem of losing batch data is a result from an Android system update, where the Android system developers forgot to copy data from the previous version. See here for more https://www.google.com/amp/s/9to5google.com/2019/12/17/android-apps-data-loss/amp/ Ufortunately there's nothing nothing we can do to get the data back since this is a System bug and not a HatchKeeper bug. There have been reports of batch data reappearing after another system update but that might not happen every time.
We are currently working on a HatchKeeper Update to switch to a different database to prevent this from happening again.
Until then I'd highly recommend using the Export Batch, or Export Group features to backup the your batches every so often. If your data gets lost all you have to do is use the Import button to import that file to get the data back into HatchKeeper
Hopfully this helps. If you have any other questions or problems feel free to contact me again.

I just opened the app and all of my data is gone, any ideas on how to get it back?
