If you are using "-package haskelldb" and still getting the error above, check the extra_ghc_opts section of the output from: $ ghc-pkg -s haskelldb It should contain -fallow-overlapping-instances. If not, something has gone wrong in the installation, please provide your "ghc-pkg -s haskelldb" output. Concerning all the other problems that you have reported, the HaskellDB CVS repo is still not working, I expect to work on moving to SourceForge CVS tonight. /Bjorn |
