    Hello,
         Could you people possibly tell me a bit about this project I cant find anythin any where! how does it all work? I am running windows xp sp2, I already have a partion on the first part of my hard disk, ready for linux, but havent got round to installing a version yet!?!? So what does this programme do for me (in lay mans terms!!) whay should I install it and also how hard will it be to install and set up?

      Hardened Linux installation is like Slackware Linux installation. You can find more information here: http://www.slackbook.org/html/installation.html.

      If you're very unskilled, you possibly will have to read a lot to install hardened linux because it is for advanced users. If you want an easy linux distribution with a graphical user interface and such things, you should try Ubuntu, SuSE, Kubuntu or such things.

      Our distributions main-target is to run in high-security environments on servers, firewalls, vpn-gateways and such things. But you can use it as firewall system at home or such things too, if you want.

      sorry man what I was after is, what are its advantages to a normal firewall and how does in work with windows, also the link doesnt seem to want to work at the mo!
