installation

Currently the installation is manual. Please feel free to contact T R Jaffe if you are having trouble with the hammurabi compilation itself. Also, if you find any bugs, please let us know!

The originally released version of hammurabi is not compatible with recent versions of HEALPix. The latest version is currently considered a beta.

Installing Hammurabi:

First install the following necessary packages (if you dont have them already):

• HEALPix (the C++ version!)
• FFTW
• GSL

This is likely to take the longest. Then

• Unpack the tar file in the desired directory.
• Update either Makefile.linux or Makefile.mac to set the correct paths for all packages.
• Do "make hammurabi".
• If it is successful, try "make test" to run a small unit test.
