Hi dear hamlib experts, Sorry for my maybe stupid question. But I have to say that I am not familiar with the internals ofhamlib, I am only using it to develop some rig control software. :-) When I look at the output of the rigctl —dump-caps option for my Elecraft KX2 transceiver, I can see that hamlib seems to support setting filters and bandwidths. Yes, I know that my KX2 has some predefined filters, for example the audio peek filter APF. And I can apply change the center frequency and bandwidth of the IF passband. That’s fine. But what about the bandwidth? I suppose that the bandwidth should affect the HF signal when transmitting and should also affect demodulation. So for CW, I find bandwidths of 600Hz (normal), 300Hz (narrow) and 2400Hz (wide). But I never found a way to control the bandwidth from the keys and knobs of the KX2 itself. Does anybody know what hamlib does to set this? Or how I could figure out? I guess without knowing anything about the structure of hamlib backends I might get stuck without any hints where to get started. Vy 73 de Stefan, DK7STJ -- Stefan Jansen *** E-Mail: DK...@da... |
