On my TS-890S, if I give rigctl 'G UP', it will move the frequency up by one 'step', where step may be different depending on the mode it is in - on CW it may be 10 Hz, SSB 100 Hz, AM 10 kHz. And there are menu entries that also can change some tuning step sizes - I'm not sure how they interact, and I've been using the rig for years. |
