You tried swapping RX/TX lines?
Looks like you saw your own freq cat command and not the response.

I know this works with CICS.  Others, I don't know.  Most likely it will need some type of hardware and firmware.  

It is looking like either I learn to make my own logging software in CICS or just forget the whole idea.
