Would be fairly straight forward to implement I think if you want to share the C# code.
I can translate and then if you open the rig without specifying an address or perhaps 0.0.0.0 (or blank) it would search for it.

Elecraft shared with me the protocol to discover the K4 on a network. I converted their C# code into a python for testing. I’m not sure about porting it to C for Hamlib but I first wanted to see if that is even a function offered in Hamlib—to discover radios on the network.
