Greetings, I downloaded Hamlib-1.13 from the TLF (PA0RCT) installation page. My system is RedHat Linux 7.3, 2.4.18.3 kernel. I verified that the versions of "autoconf" and "automake" were at the revision level mentioned in the README file. I followed the instructions in the INSTALL file. The installation appeared to go smoothly, that is, it completed and didn't have any errors that I could see. However, when I followed the suggestions in the Hamlib FAQ about using 'rigctl', that's when I discovered that something is amiss. Typing in 'rigctl --list' returns the following: freq = 5778699387438942 (or some other meaningless integer) In fact, no matter what switches I throw with 'rigctl' results in the same message. Clearly, something is not right here. Any ideas? Vy 73, Charlie N9CO |
