Yes, passband is on the TODO list. I have to look into it, at the
moment I don't have a clue what it is for. Guess it has something
to do with the IF bandwidth.

Looks good.

I guess now is the time to check some other rigctl commands.
Command that could work are set_rit, get_rit, set_level, get_level,
set_func, get_func, set_trn, get_trn, set_ptt and get_ptt.

You could also try one of the applications listed on
  http://hamlib.sourceforge.net/app.html
Grig is a good one to start with, you can test some basic rig
commands and it allows you to set the debug level.
