Stephane, testing: I'm looking into using expect simply because I've seen it work and have had problems trying to get dejagnu installed. Time is starting to become a problem but after I get the ts2k stuff working in CVS I plan on attempting to automate testing. My attention span drops to about 2min after about the second or third command I type into rigctl. After that is gets real short! Hi. After that, my priority is saving/restoring memories, and then the same with initial setup (my own util works on the ts2k, if you remember our first discussion). This will require some type of setup file (extended .hamlibrc) which should be perfect for setting up the actual .hamlibrc. (Maybe that's too ambitious. A working ts2k.c would be just fine!) vfo_t: I'm writing a doc (text) that explains and expounds and runs on about vfo_t. Its 0900UTC (0200 local) and I've just finished searching all the hamlib directories. I've rewitten rig.h yet again (an found kylix/ hamlib_rigapi.pas much to my dismay). This time it only addresses what I feel are bugs and/or inconsistancies. As a side effect it paves the way for extended vfo_t operations when we are all running those MoonMelters with 101 VFO's and 1001 scanning modes. :) (Or a barebones ts2000.) I think you'll find it to be quite acceptable and look forward to sending it to the list. I'll just send the essential RIG_VFO stuff. (If my wife don't chop my laptop up before I get it done! Hi.) Gotta go. 73's Dale |
