Stephane, Thanks! I should have fetched my e-mail before I sent you my last. I've already fetched the new CVS, now I'll have to reinstall ssh, etc... I ran into the problem you mentioned but didn't do the math. I just changed the code. I created a Major and Minor portion for the vfo. Main/Sub are in the Major, VFO_A, etc is in the minor. I think it'll support everybody with only a little added complexity. This is almost exactly how you had it set up anyway. Once I get access, I'll start checking in my stuff bit by bit. I'll rewrite to match the current hamlib. I'll either see the light or find a way to convince you otherwise. :) Yes, I agree that one must be careful in certain areas. I've checked what I could with my own stuff, but the unexpected is what always gets you. I'll be happy to do something with rpcrig if I can get it going. It's at least as interesting as doing the ts2k stuff. Cool factor is always high on the list. If it works, I'll definitely be willing to write a rpcrig-howto! 73's Dale kd7eni |
