On the daily drive home today, a topic came up over the local 2m repeater, that might fit in with hamlib. What was being discussed was the possibility of cloning rigs. While it is possible to xfer settings from many rigs to another of the same type, but what would be handy is if we had a way to transfer memory settings between two completely different units. If we came up with a common data format (xml perhaps) one could read settings from your "Super Whizzo DSP-9000X", swap interface cables and transfer to your buddies "Dumb as a Stone Analog 3B"....
