[Hamlib-developer] kenwood_transaction()

I have been having a lot of trouble with the kenwood_transaction() in
kenwood/kenwood.c.  Since this is
a pretty important function it is slowing any work I do tremendously.
I've been hacking at it but only have
it semi-functional.  The section where read_string() is sent is the most
problematic.  Any help, fixes, or
suggestions would be appreciated.

I've attached a two rigctl scripts showing the errors in 1) kenwood.c
and 2) in my developmental ts2k.c.
I've compressed them with gzip this time.  :)

Each was ran after a make install, and 1) was done on hamlib-1.1.3-rc1
with clean sources.
The errors are different but fixing them has been a different story.
