In programming the ICOM IC-R8500 (using Tcl/Tk, not hamlib), most (but not all) bus collisions I've seen produce 3 hex FC bytes. The FC byte code is not useful for any other purpose in the IC-R8500 command set. Therefore, my tk8500 software interprets any FC character as indicia of a collision and discards the remaining bytes in the message. On Tuesday 12 March 2002 02:39 am, Chuck Hemker wrote: > 1.
