I forgot to mention that with respect to the possibly major rewrite of the
backend to support multiple radios on the CI-V bus among other things:

1. I don't have two icom radios to test it with directly.
   (without going over to a friends, and then they may overlap in frequency
    which would cause problems for tranceive)
2. I'm not sure how separating out the ci-v bus would fit in hamlib.
   (New routine in src/register.c to register the ci-v bus?)
   (what to put in the various internal structures and such.)
3. I'm not sure how much time I'll have.

Because of this, I'm not sure when/if I would get to it.  However, if you do
want me to work on it, I'll try.

Or if I run into a need and/or problems with the current code.  :)

I will of course, help finish cleaning up the fixes to the current version I
started the other day.  And other things I run across.
