Looks like this never made it to the list? ---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: Opto535 test results Date: Thu, 7 Mar 2002 04:31:19 -0500 From: "John R. Marshall" <hot...@so...> To: HamLib <ham...@li...> This is great! For the first time since I kicked my Microsoft habit last summer, I had the pleasure of watching my scanner display go blank as my computer took control over the scanner! :-D Under rigctl F - works f - works M - works m - works _ works A few little things I noticed. in opto535.c line 119 - need to add the 50kHz tuning step in optoscan.com line 128 the error string should be optoscan_get_info not icom_get_info Now a question about cell phone freqs. The opto boards can pick up the cell phone freqs, and that is outlawed in the US. Of the windows programs I used one let you receive them and another would sent you a code to turn on the banned freqs (you had to show you were government or repair related to get the code If I remember). So anyway I know many of you are not located in the US so I was wondering if you had any ideas about handling it? -- John R.
