Everything seems fine. Looks like you made your patch against 1.1.2.
Anyway, ic718 is checked in. Thanks to you.
Can you give it a try now, from a fresh cvs checkout?

BTW, did you have any reason to comment out the "frame[i++] = PAD;" in
icom/frame.c ? Did it confuse your ic718?

That'd be a good idea. I know some of us have problem with their mikes so
mfsk would be more appropriate. hi.  
Whatever, I would say it's better to agree on some frequency we can all
watch, and then listen for CQ CQ CQ HAMLIB...
Do you have any preference for a qrv?
