[Hamlib-developer] rigctld socket test

Hi

Just wondering if rigctld supports the port being "pinged"or other test 
to see if the TCP socket is alive. I know ping is not the appropriate 
protocol.

Intent is to use something like this 
https://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-tcp-ping in node red 
where I use rigctld for accessing the radio.
