WooHOO !!!
With the compile of the latest Hamlib, was able to read all 500 memory channels.
AND get them to spool to a CSV file...

Now I need to find a simple Spreadsheet or DB GUI to make modifications, and the right way to import that back into the BC780xlt Scanner memory.

I'd also like to find a way to control the functions of the scanner in a dynamic manner, like lowering the volume at a certain time of day, and other RealTime control actions...

I've gotten 'grig' to work, but only displaying the freq and S-Meter level.

Ideally, I would like to find a utility like Dans 'chirp' that would use 'hamlib' and allow me to program the scanner, then work on the dynamic controlling after that.

I'm open to thoughts on how to accomplish these goals running under LinuxMint.
