Attached is a set of patches I have been working on to add some 
functions of hamlib that have not been implemented for the Kenwood TS-890S.

Since this is the first time I've really used git to manage my own code, 
and the first real  C I've written in >15 years, I'd appreciate knowing 
if I'm on the right track.

These are NOT complete, but should show the direction I'm heading.  
Please tell me any formatting or style changes needed before I get to a 
final submission,
