Hello All, Another blind ham has recently purchased a Xiegu X6100 and we are hoping that we can add some accessibility to it. However, we are told the command set is the Icom command set. I found a forum post discussing the G1M where there was talk of a xml file that it was presented itself as a Icom radio. How do we generate this xml file? Or how do we interrogate the radio to use it with rigctl? The X6100 owner (Den) tells me that he thinks he has communication with the radio but he can't get or change things like VFO or frequency. Isn't there an extra parameter that the Icom command set requires to work? Any hints of how to get this SDR under the control of rigctl would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
