Hi!

It seems you are running Cqrlog. It uses "fmv".

ICOM models (some I know) can not answer to "v" (VFO) question. I have 
IC7300 by my self. It can not tell vfo.

I recommend to upgrade to Hamlib 4.5 and Cqrlog 2.6.0
