Hello all.
Well, a coding flurry struck and in its wake is some brand new code for
the Rotor-EZ and RotorCard interfaces from Idiom Press and the
DCU-1/DCU-1X from Hy-Gain. The supported protocol is called DCU, but I
named the backend rotorez as the Idiom Press products seem more popular.
The code is in need of testing with a real rotor. I verified the
strings are correct to another computer, but I have no rotor to test as
yet. Implemented functions are rot_get_position, rot_set_position and
rot_stop. The DCU-1 only supports rot_set_position.
Since the DCU-1 can only accept 0 to 359 degrees, any value above 359.5
is converted to 0.
Only azimuth is supprted and its range is 0 to 360 degrees.
Enjoy!
