[Hamlib-developer] TS450 results

I can set Mode, Vfo, Split and a few other things, I can't get
frequency, mode and other things I'd expect. See attached output from
rigctl

Hello Sid, glad you finally were able to hookup the TS450. So what
kind of connector did you use?

I should be able to help you with this, since I have done most of the
work on the TS870. Getting the frequency is done with 'f' in rigctl.
Can you please try this?

Do you know of any TS450 manual which is available for download?
This would help me get started. I have tried www.kenwood.net, but they
don't seem to list it.

Sid,

There is a manual for the control part of the TS450 rig at:
http://www.cnham.com/ts450/ts_450_ex_control.pdf

It is a chinese website and the copy is quite bad, but
maybe it's enough to get us started. I will make a printout
tomorrow and have a look.
