Hi there I've just installed Hamlib on my Raspberry Pi, but any command with rigctl returns this error: rigctld: symbol lookup error: rigctld: undefined symbol: lock_mode I'd really appreciate any advice. I must even add further that #include <multicast.h> in rig.h was probably meant as #include <hamlib/multicast.h>, and the re-introduction of #include <hamlib/config.h> in rig.h is a big step backwards. Is this *really* necessary? All end users will import everything in config.h and this should probably be hidden. > Am 09.05.2023 um 16:24 schrieb Michael Black via Hamlib-developer <ham...@li...>: > > Branch: refs/heads/master > Home: https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib > Commit: b67803358c40b94216b8999d37fc92b1ac387b32 > https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib/commit/b67803358c40b94216b8999d37fc92b1ac387b32 > Author: Mike Black W9MDB <mdb...@ya...> > Date: 2023-05-09 (Tue, 09 May 2023) > > Changed paths: > M src/multicast.c > > Log Message: > ----------- > Update multicast.c JSON > https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib/issues/695 > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Hamlib-developer mailing list > Ham...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/hamlib-developer +---------------------------------+----------------------------------+ | Prof. Christoph van Wüllen | Tele-Phone (+49) (0)631 205 2749 | | RPTU, Dpt. of Chemistry | Tele-Fax (+49) (0)631 205 2750 | | Erwin-Schrödinger-Str. | | | D-67663 Kaiserslautern, Germany | | +---------------------------------+----------------------------------+ | HomePage: https://chem.rptu.de/en/wgs/ag-van-wuellen | +---------------------------------+----------------------------------+ |

in rig.h there is #include <multicast.h> but this one does not reside in hamlib/include and does not go to /usr/local/include/hamlib. I guess multicast.h from src should be copied there, and I suggest to update "make install". > Am 09.05.2023 um 16:24 schrieb Michael Black via Hamlib-developer <ham...@li...>: > > Branch: refs/heads/master > Home: https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib > Commit: b67803358c40b94216b8999d37fc92b1ac387b32 > https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib/commit/b67803358c40b94216b8999d37fc92b1ac387b32 > Author: Mike Black W9MDB <mdb...@ya...> > Date: 2023-05-09 (Tue, 09 May 2023) > > Changed paths: > M src/multicast.c > > Log Message: > ----------- > Update multicast.c JSON > https://github.com/Hamlib/Hamlib/issues/695 > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Hamlib-developer mailing list > Ham...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/hamlib-developer +---------------------------------+----------------------------------+ | Prof. Christoph van Wüllen | Tele-Phone (+49) (0)631 205 2749 | | RPTU, Dpt. of Chemistry | Tele-Fax (+49) (0)631 205 2750 | | Erwin-Schrödinger-Str. | | | D-67663 Kaiserslautern, Germany | | +---------------------------------+----------------------------------+ | HomePage: https://chem.rptu.de/en/wgs/ag-van-wuellen | +---------------------------------+----------------------------------+ |
