I've been poking at the perl API of hmalib to make a gtk frontend to control my remote radio. I've gotten most things I need working, but having no luck with rig_send_raw etc. From rigctl command i'm able to send the appropriate commands to the remote rigctld and they work. Any tips would be appreciated. I'm using an ft891 on the rigcltd side, if it helps. Thanks, Joseph K8SEL |

Please be nice to a newbie! I've created a new processor control package for all of the internal features of the RACAL 6778C receiver, as the existing processor hardware from the 1970's is now unobtanium. I'm hoping for some guidance on how to begin programming a serial port interface that would be recognized by Hamlib. Should I start with a rig file for a well supported Receiver or even a Transceiver so I can program and test the basic interactions with Hamlib? Any and all advice will be appreciated! Thanks, John |
