This breaks things very badly. Adding the gpio pointer into the middle of the hamlib_port_t structure means all the offsets are different from what are compiled into the apps; i.e., it breaks API compatibility. Tried with wsjt-x, and again no transmit. I also included a change to k3_max_power to take the current band into account again. These values have changed in firmware upgrades in the past but have been stable for quite a while now, so I think they should be considered again. Yet the lines that Chris' patches address are still there in HEAD. Perhaps these touch something a bit different? 73, Nate -- "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds. I've manually applied your patches to the HEAD of my working tree. I didn't see an issue and they compile cleanly. I'd appreciate your testing them with the latest Git checkout or the latest daily snapshot available from: https://n0nb.users.sourceforge.net/ 73, Nate -- "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds. Hi, first of all thank you very much for this excellent piece of software! I have attached a fix for setting power on Elecraft TRXs (currently the power set is off by a factor of 10 if no PA is attached). I also included a change to k3_max_power to take the current band into account again. These values have changed in firmware upgrades in the past but have been stable for quite a while now, so I think they should be considered again. Best Regards, Chris, HB9ZHK |
