Hi guys, I would like to add support for direct connection from PC (Hamlib) to Sky-Watcher mount. Protocol is described here: https://inter-static.skywatcher.com/downloads/skywatcher_motor_controller_command_set.pdf skywatcher_motor_controller_command_set File · 807 KB Is it something that comply with hamlib design/feature-set? Just want to make sure my pull request won’t be rejected straight away. Best Regards, Andrey |

This was changed to support automatic filter selection by the rig. The IC7300 for example (and I thought the 7610 would be this way too) remembers the filter selection by mode. Since hamlib-w64-4.6~, the filter does not change even when I switch the MODE of my rig (IC-7610). There is no problem with Ver4.5.5. Is this a change in specifications? Or will it be improved in the future? I use Filter2 in CW, and even when I switch to SSB, it remains Filter2. Previously, when I switched to SSB, it became Filter1. I've found that very recently my rotator control code is crashing when I tell a Spid Rot1Prog controller to "stop". Building a debug version of Hamlib on a Mac has isolated this to line 538 of spid.c priv->dir = 0; This is because "priv" is only going to be valid for a Rot2Prog (az/el) controller' My "simple" (and working) fix is just if (priv) { priv->dir = 0; } I think this is the only place this mistake has been made; I'd offer a patch, but I'm not confident without some background as to why this code was fairly recently added. What is "NextGen" The K22; is getting echoed and causing the problem. I can program around it but would like to know what's causing the echo. Subject: hamlib-w64-4.6~ X-Mailer: Microsoft Windows Live Mail 16.4.3528.331 Dear hamlib-developer I am using hamlib. Thank you.
