I am looking for information on controlling Kenwood radios via the serial microphone connection. Specifically the D710, V71A, TM271, 281 and other radios. This was never documented by Kenwood. I am not referring to proramming but rather real-time control via serial commands. I need documentation on the actual hardware and connections involved. Also does the current hamlib have a module for this. It is my understanding that the commands have basically been static for many years. Any information or current documentation links would be greatly appreciated.
