I have connected my Yaesu FT-710 to a laptop using a USB cable, attempted to use a logging app (QLog) that uses hamlib to connect with the transceiver but I get an error: 'Get Frequency Error', 'Error Detail: rig_get_freq(2130): vfo_opt=0, model=1049'. See attached screenshots for settings used and error message. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help is much appreciated.
Well, picking up on this thread, I've been noticing several issues with my FT710 and how the CAT works.
I don't know if this should be addressed here, or if the problem is with HAMLIB's external libraries, but since we've started it...
When connecting the radio, whether I use the definition of FT-710 or FTDX10 I have communication, and, in principle, it works.
But there are several functions that either fail or do not behave correctly.
In short, I tend to use the FTDX10 configuration before that of the radio since at least the split works well, and I only use the Yaesu FT710 configuration if I have previously done digital modes, since if the bands are configured in DATA-U in connected QLOG gives me an error, with the definition FTDX10.
