How to generate new rig?

    Greetings,

    is there a easy 'HowTo create a new rig?'. I need to generate a new
    rig which is very similar to the Fifi which is already implemented.
    Right now I have no idea what the proper way is to tackle this task.

    Is there a skeleton file or something like that?

    Hi,

    Have you had a look at the README.developer file?
    Working from the git repository is the best for such work.

    Since your new rig is similar to the Fifi, I'd recommend you to use it as a skeleton, and creating it in the "kit" backend.

    Feel free to ask questions and submit patches to the hamlib-developer mailing-list.
