I'm curious if there are any current ways to enable smooth acceleration on an antenna rotator with the hamlib library (for less jerky motion of the rig). Otherwise, are there any thoughts on whether or not this would be a useful feature to add for those with large, heavy rigs?

Seems like maybe we should add speed up as I think the slow down is automatic.
The GS232B for example does have the X command with speeds 1-4.
It could be done maybe once per second on a move to bump it up one speed every second or some such thing.
Do you have a particularly heavy rig you're slewing around you could test that?
