I go to different computer gaming places. But i still use a name: slowbie. But will it affect y stats???? like it wil i put my stats into the same name udne the different ips or somehing cansomeone explain this to mE PLEASE!

This depends 100% on how the server admin has setup their stats. If they set it to use wonID, it will NOT keep your stats from other half-life installations if they do not share the same CD key. If they share the same CD key, you can move between them just fine and your stats will follow you.
If the server admin is going by IP, they will only follow you if both machines are behind the same firewall, otherwise your stats will be different from both machines.
Lastly if they server set up his stats to track by name, then the stats will follow you no matter what. But keep in mind someone can change their name to yours and do all kinds of mean things to your stats then :)
