#113 setinfo/name bug am 2.50.60 linux [i think win32 too..]
enter game with whatever name. the setinfo var is NOT
in setinfo cvars. play a little.
enter correct setinfo. when i enter name, server kicks
out with "reserverd name" message.
just after kick i type "retry" or "reconnect". my
admin works!
entering with admin rights right from start works
[before connect]. and i don't lose rights on
mapchange.. as far as i tested.
it's a bug or.. am i doing something wrong? passwords
are unix crypt in users.ini
the thing is 2.50.59 has this bug also.
maybe it's better to use ips and STEAM ids, but i want
to use names.
some reasons:
when im on my pub.. undercover. and then enter my
admin name/pass to ban a cheater. then again im with
false ip (masq). i really don't want anyone connecting
from my real ip to be instantly admin on my server.
whem i leave the computer for my friend and he wants
to play on the server using his admin.
now he has to disconnect because he can't enter his
setinfo and name - the server will kick him.
tested on hlds 3110c and hlds 1125/stdio 2738 secure,
adminmod 2.50.59 or 2.50.60.

That's not a bug.
If you are on the server, you shouldn't use setinfo, but
admin_login <password> to login.
