It seems, that filesize and readfile always count one line
less in files.I only tested it on WIN server.
If you use these functions, you always have to add one
empty line, that all informations of the file can be loaded
to a plugin else the last entrie is missing.

Files created under Windows do not end their last line with
an EOL while files created under Unix do. Please check if
this could be the cause for what you're seeing. Try with a
file created under Linux with line ends converted to DOS and
the other way round.
