There are some fairly straightforward ways to improve the AI:

(1) More intelligently choosing targets

(2) Adding more AI helper functionality in the script files of specific spells and abilities - for example, preferred target info or checking for specific circumstances where a spell's priority should be raised.

About the archer bug, i redone the situation i got it. I did 2 screen shots.
On the first, you see the archer with my warrior in line of sight. Others pc are hidded by the wall. He should target him.

On the second, you can see in the console what did he really did :
    - Crippling shot on my rogue (no damage because of the wall)
    - Moving to see my rogue
    - Attacking him

During the Tomb, i noticed the same thing : the Archers cast their special hit, even out of line, then move, then attack.
Sorry for the spamming, i am trying to give the most information i can :)

there was a pretty major bug in finding targets to attack causing the issue with archers and some other problems; that has been fixed.

The way the AI finds targets for attacks has been overhauled. The AI will try to avoid AoOs, but will otherwise tend to go after weaker party members.
