  • easy install, did not seem to want to work with xfs but btrfs is fine. Really beautiful to look at, I only wish i hadnt missed out on the KDE version to see how it looked, ahh couple weeks too late it seems, but a good distro so far, zero issues. So far on par with Garuda, and vanilla arch for my use, gaming mostly -thx guys!
  • Plasma desktop crashes while installing.

sorry, i THINK we were using a testing build of calamares, should be fixed in the iso i just released. But we've always had hit or miss issues with KDE, hence we may be removing it.
  • I don't know anything about operating systems, but I really like linux and arch. I was looking for an alternative to arcolinux, that had kde, that was also purer and didn't have the plasma shortcuts that bothered me so much when using arcolinux. Stormos was and is perfect for me. Maybe it lacks a little beauty. But this is relative. So congratulations to the developer. I would like to contribute to the project if the developers allow it. I'm littlejhonnes at gmail dot com
  • Oh boy, rant time, read on if you want an honest reaction from a vet who ONLY uses Arch or Arch-Based ....Another one? Folks imma level wit yall, and be real, im all for a new fork of Arch, im one of THOSE dreaded "BTW I use Arch" elitists, however unlike my peers im aware staring at a pitch black screen (TTY) is neither visually pleasing, nor does it allow for you to properly dip into the AUR (TTY is a root user, cant use Paru, Yay or Trizen while root) limiting potential & creative Arch setups, however I take issue when these forks do little to nothing to make it their own, StormOS, mdmxos & theres others drag & drop, theres nothing different here, than ArchLinuxGUI, Arcolinux's Carli, or hell even just from that dreaded TTY i mentioned typing "archinstall" or "python-archinstall," all of which offer a barebones Arch installer, with a desktop included...nothing except the directory & packages could use some cleanup, you want Arch with the branding (unoriginal logo btw boss, the Arch orb logo, just with Impact font microsoft painted/photoshopped on top, really? But I guess anything is better than this 1 distro who had a copyrighted stormtrooper helmet illegally as the logo, wonder what happened to them....hmm) but Arch gui installer with the branding=ArchGUI, Carli. Best out-of-the-box dedicated tiling wm distro=Archcraft, best gaming=Garuda, and my boy over at GDL-Golden Drake Linux, non systemd=Artix, all around most complete=ArcoLinuxL, purest overall Arch AND any Linux=Hyperbola/Parabola, or do it the Arch way=Arch Linux, any way you slice it, this is trash, sorry to say, cant say much bad, but I always discredit the lazy, unimaginative Arch-based isos, because theres no reason for them to exist, other than the creator, usually theres only 1 when its this copy & pasted, wanted to try to join the bandwagon & get his name recognized, but unfortunately it worked, but thankfully ppl are smart enough not to use it as a primary driver & only just to see, you can do better, cuz this wouldnt be Arch approved, its not the Arch way, its not done for Arch reasons (meaning, its not done with the best intentions), and its a lazy fork that cant even put little sunglasses on the A (different fork's logo) much less make its own logo & identity, if you plan on keeping this on a drive for longer than a few days, im sorry for your loss (of mind). Have fun, and get your own identity. -KM Edit: I wonder....Did "Ben-Linuxguy1" get a copyright claim from LucasArts/Disney when Storm had a stormtrooper as the logo, or did he realize Arch is copyLEFTED (Open-Source) but that still doesnt mean you can use a copyRIGHTED image, even for a fork?
