Right now "Ctrl" is at the Capslock position (1st of 3rd row) and "Esc" is at the Ctrl position (1st of 5th row). I think this is counter-intuitive for most people, since "Ctrl" is on the bottom left on most physicial keyboards. More over, it would be nice if this could be a tweakable option. Since Vim users are used to using Capslock as "Esc" and Emacs users are used to using Capslock as "Ctrl".

I do plan to make keymaps user-modifiable, see the linked issue. Until then, I'd prefer not to change the default layout to avoid confusing people who got used to the current way of doing things.
